/* Brand fonts — self-hosted.
 *
 * Served from our own origin rather than fonts.gstatic.com. Since browsers
 * partitioned the HTTP cache by top-level site (Chrome 86, Safari), a shared
 * CDN no longer means a shared cache — a visitor who loaded Manrope on
 * salon.mx re-downloads it on peluquerias.mx either way. So self-hosting costs
 * nothing in bytes and removes two extra origins from the critical path, plus
 * the third-party dependency and the IP disclosure that comes with it.
 *
 * woff2 first, ttf second: every browser since 2016 takes the woff2 and never
 * requests the ttf, which is a fraction of the size (Manrope: 24 KB vs 161 KB).
 * The ttf stays as the fallback for anything that cannot.
 *
 * Split latin / latin-ext by unicode-range so a page only fetches what it
 * renders. latin alone covers Spanish, Portuguese and English — the accents,
 * enye and inverted marks all live in Latin-1 Supplement; latin-ext is only
 * pulled in when a name needs Central-European glyphs.
 *
 * LICENSE — both faces are SIL OFL 1.1:
 * Copyright 2018 The Manrope Project Authors (upstream package)
 * Copyright 2019 The Manrope Project Authors (embedded in the binaries)
 *   (https://github.com/sharanda/manrope)
 * Copyright 2017 The Playfair Display Project Authors
 * (https://github.com/clauseggers/Playfair-Display), with Reserved Font Name
 *   "Playfair Display".
 * Manrope ships both years. Google Fonts' own OFL.txt for the package we subset
 * from states 2018; the woff2 files themselves state 2019. Same holder, and the
 * OFL asks for "the above copyright notice", so carrying both settles which one
 * that is instead of picking (Codex, #94). Playfair states 2017 in both places.
 *
 * Self-hosting made us a redistributor, and the OFL allows that only if every
 * copy carries the copyright notice AND the license text. The woff2 files do
 * carry the notice, in the OpenType name table's copyright field (NameID 0) —
 * the license names no particular field, only that it be viewable — but they
 * carry no license body, and we shipped one nowhere else either. Both now ship
 * as /assets/fonts/OFL-Manrope.txt and /assets/fonts/OFL-PlayfairDisplay.txt,
 * beside the binaries and under the same handler that serves them.
 *
 * WHY THE SERIF IS CALLED 'Salon Display' AND NOT 'Playfair Display' (#99) —
 * Playfair reserves its name, and the woff2 below are Google Fonts SUBSETS,
 * which the OFL counts as Modified Versions. Condition 3 bars a Modified
 * Version from using the reserved name as "the primary font name as presented
 * to the users", and Google's permission to use it covers fonts served through
 * Google Fonts, not copies we host ourselves. The OFL's answer for a Modified
 * Version is to carry the modifier's own name, and that costs one custom
 * property here, so we take it.
 *
 * The rename goes all the way down, which matters: SIL's own guidance (the OFL
 * FAQ, and their page on webfonts and Reserved Font Names) counts a font's
 * internal name records as user-facing too, on the reasoning that a webfont is
 * a separately downloadable resource rather than data embedded in a document.
 * A CSS alias alone would not have been enough. So the three binaries were
 * regenerated with fontTools: NameIDs 1, 3, 4 and 6, plus the PostScript names
 * the fvar instances point at (263-268), now read "Salon Display" /
 * "SalonDisplay". The ttf additionally has NameID 25, the variations PostScript
 * prefix, which the two woff2 do not carry (Codex).
 *
 * What was deliberately NOT touched, because the license requires it or it is
 * not ours to erase: NameID 0 (copyright), 7 (trademark), 13 (license text)
 * and 14 (license URL) are byte-identical to the originals. A NameID 10
 * description was added crediting Claus Eggers Sørensen and stating this is a
 * renamed subset — attribution, which condition 4 expressly allows, not a font
 * name.
 *
 * A NameID 10 description was added crediting the author and saying what each
 * file is — "subset" for the two woff2, "version" for the ttf, which is the
 * full 1103-glyph variable font and not a subset at all.
 *
 * The outlines are untouched and verified so: same glyph count, same cmap
 * coverage, same metrics and fvar axes, and a digest over every contour's
 * coordinates matching the original exactly. In the browser the rendered width
 * of a sample string is identical before and after (597.08px, against 601.43px
 * for the Georgia fallback). head.modified is deliberately preserved too, so
 * the only bytes that move outside the name table are checkSumAdjustment, which
 * has to. ~200 bytes more per file for the new strings.
 *
 * There were two independent reasons to stop presenting the old name, not one:
 * the OFL's reserved name, and NameID 7's "Playfair is a trademark of Claus
 * Eggers Sørensen" — trademark being separate law that the OFL licenses none
 * of. The regenerated files keep that notice while no longer using the mark as
 * their own name.
 *
 * Manrope reserves no name, so it keeps its own and its subsets raise nothing.
 *
 * Adding or replacing a face here means adding its notice too.
